Kenitra AC Explains Reasons for Moving Its Match to Tangier

The management of Kenitra Athletic Club has issued an official statement explaining the background to its decision to play its upcoming Throne Cup match in the city of Tangier, after failing to find a suitable stadium in the cities of Kenitra and Rabat.
The club affirmed that this decision came after studying the various available options, as it proved impossible to obtain authorization to use the stadiums available in the city of Rabat, despite the letters sent to the relevant authorities since 7 May.
The statement also clarified that the Khemisset stadium was not a viable option because one of its stands was not ready to receive spectators, which further complicated the organizational situation.
The management of "KAC" added that it had exhausted all possible solutions before deciding to play the match on the pitch of the Grand Stade de Tanger, regarded as the only stadium with a natural grass surface available between Kenitra and Tangier.
The club noted that this decision was taken on Monday at seven o'clock in the evening, in accordance with the requirements of organizing and preparing for the match.
