After Switching Nationality, Mohamed Ouahbi Calls Up Rayan Bouneda to the Atlas Lions

Mohamed Ouahbi, coach of the Morocco national team, has called up player Rayan Bouneda, who plays professionally for Ajax Amsterdam, to join the national team's training camp as part of preparations for the two upcoming friendly matches against Ecuador on Friday, March 27, 2026, in Madrid, and against Paraguay on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in Lens.
Bouneda's call-up comes after FIFA approved the change of his sporting nationality from Belgium to Morocco, having previously worn the jersey of Belgium's youth national teams, thus beginning a new chapter in his international career with the "Atlas Lions".
Bouneda's addition is expected to be a quality boost for the national team, as the technical staff looks to try out young and promising players capable of making a difference in the upcoming fixtures and strengthening competition within the national squad.
