Morocco to Face El Salvador in a Friendly in the United States Ahead of the World Cup

The Morocco national team is continuing its preparations for the 2026 World Cup finals by playing two friendly matches next June in the United States, as part of a preparation programme aimed at strengthening team cohesion and boosting technical and physical readiness.
Yamil Bukele, president of the Salvadoran Football Federation, announced that El Salvador will face the Atlas Lions in a friendly on Wednesday 3 June, at the “Northwest Stadium” in Landover, Maryland, in a fresh test for national coach Mohamed Ouahbi against an opponent from the Concacaf region.
