Morocco to Face Norway in New Jersey Friendly Ahead of 2026 World Cup

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation announced on Tuesday the scheduling of a high-profile friendly match between the Morocco national team and Norway, as part of the Atlas Lions' preparations for the 2026 World Cup finals, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The encounter will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, on the pitch of the Sports Illustrated Stadium in the city of Harrison, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.
The match is part of the preparation programme being undertaken by the national team, with the aim of assessing the players' readiness and trying out a range of tactical options before the start of the World Cup, regarded as the most prominent football event in the world.
The match will kick off at three o'clock in the afternoon local time, that is eight o'clock in the evening Moroccan time, in another friendly test against a strong European side.
