Olympic Safi Dealt Major Blow as Soufiane El Moudane Ruled Out Against USM Alger

Olympic Safi have been dealt a major blow ahead of their decisive clash with USM Alger, in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final, after the absence of their player and captain Soufiane El Moudane was confirmed due to injury.
A source close to the matter told mfmsport that Soufiane El Moudane did not sustain any injury during the recent training sessions, but had been suffering from back pain since the team's return from Algeria following the first leg, which prevented him from training properly over the past few days.
The same source confirmed that the player's absence from the match against USM Alger is now certain, while the possibility of him missing the upcoming matches remains open, pending the official medical report that will determine the nature of the injury and how serious it is.
The absence of both El Moudane and goalkeeper Hamza El Hamiani, who is sidelined due to a disciplinary suspension, is a source of concern within the Safi side, especially given the importance of the current stage and the team's desire to achieve positive results and compete strongly for a place in the final.
