Olympique Dcheira Protests Refereeing and Demands an Inquiry After Loss to Kawkab Marrakech

Olympique Dcheira football club has voiced its strong condemnation of the refereeing display during its match against Kawkab Marrakech, played on the evening of Monday 4 May as part of the professional league, arguing that the referee's decisions directly affected the outcome of the game.
In an official statement, the Souss club explained that the encounter featured a series of refereeing errors it described as "unfair," foremost among them the awarding of an invalid penalty to the opposing side, even though the replay shows an Olympique Dcheira player playing the ball legally without committing any foul.
The statement also pointed out that the referee overlooked a clear sending-off against a Kawkab Marrakech defender, after he tripped one of the team's strikers in a one-on-one situation, settling for a yellow card instead of a red, before the same player went on to commit another foul warranting a second booking without the rule being applied.
The club added that the referee disallowed a legitimate goal for Olympique Dcheira for offside, a decision it deemed wrong, in addition to a double standard in the refereeing calls, by penalising minor fouls in the opponent's favour while ignoring obvious fouls suffered by its own players.
Olympique Dcheira affirmed its outright rejection of such practices, which undermine the credibility of the competition, announcing that it reserves the right to take all legal and regulatory steps to defend its interests.
Concluding its statement, the club called on the supervising authorities to open an urgent inquiry into these refereeing errors and to impose the necessary sanctions, in order to uphold the principles of integrity and fairness within football competitions.
