Sulaiman bin Hamoud: 'Lucky to Sign Sektioui to Bring Morocco's Experience to Omani Football'

Sulaiman bin Hamoud, president of the Oman Football Association, officially announced the appointment of Tarik Sektioui as technical director of the national team during a press conference held today in the presence of local and international media.
Bin Hamoud noted that the Oman Football Association was fortunate to sign Sektioui, who chose to lead the Omani national team despite having received several offers recently. He added: "Sektioui comes after a major achievement, his triumph in the Arab Cup, and we aim to benefit from his vast experience and transfer Morocco's expertise to Omani football."
The federation president affirmed that the agreement with the coach was part of a clear project aimed at developing football in Oman and achieving the national team's ambitious goals. He added: "Our ambitions converged with those of the coach, and this harmony is the key to success in the upcoming phase."
The signing of Sektioui comes as part of the federation's strategy to strengthen the technical performance of the Omani national team and benefit from international expertise, in preparation for upcoming regional and international competitions.
