Mohamed Ouahbi calls up players for training camp before finalizing 2026 World Cup squad

National team coach Mohamed Ouahbi, head coach of the Morocco national football team, has called up a group of players for a training camp at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, as part of the ongoing preparations ahead of the announcement of the final squad of the national team set to take part in the 2026 World Cup.
The list of call-ups features 30 players, as follows:
El Mehdi El Harrar, Mounir El Mohammadi, Yanis Benchaouch, Ibrahim Gomis, Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal, Ismael Baouf, Ismael Saibari, Oussama Targhalline, Imran Louza, Samir El Mourabet, Anass Salah-Eddine, Marouane Saadane, Yassine Jasim, Mohamed Chibi, Sofiane Boufal, Rayan Bounida, Yasser Zabiri, Othmane Maamma, Sofiane Benjdida, Yanis Bakraoui, Ayoub Bouaddi, Taoufik Bentayeb, Ayoub El Mimouni, Sofiane El Fouzi, Sofiane Bouftini, Youssef Belaammari, Ayoub El Kaabi, Sofiane Kerouani.
This training camp aims to assess the readiness of a number of players and to give the coaching staff a better opportunity to evaluate the players' physical and technical performance, before making the final decision on the names that will represent the national team at the global tournament.
