Shark Family Rises Up and Launches Fierce Criticism at Hidaoui and the Olympique de Safi Board

The "Ultras Shark Family" group, which supports the Olympique de Safi club, has explained the reasons behind its boycott of the team's match against Olympique de Dcheira, played in the Throne Cup on the pitch of El Massira Stadium, as a protest against what it described as the "catastrophic situation" the club has been going through recently.
In its statement, the group said that the boycott decision reflects the mounting anger among the fans, amid the continuation of chaotic management and the absence of any signs of genuine reform, as well as the silence of those responsible for the current situation.
The "Shark Family" also denounced what it considered a restriction on freedom of expression, after all the entrances leading to the prefecture's headquarters were closed off, a move it saw as an attempt to prevent fans from making their voices heard and expressing their legitimate demands.
The group affirmed that these measures will not deter it from continuing its peaceful and civilized struggle, stressing its refusal to be drawn into any provocations that might steer its protest away from its legitimate course.
The Safi supporters explained that their current stance is not a spur-of-the-moment reaction, but rather the continuation of a long path of struggle that began years ago and passed through several notable milestones, including the "train of anger" in 2014. According to the statement, the group has always remained on the front line in defending the team by exposing instances of corruption and mismanagement.
The "Shark Family" directed sharply worded criticism at the club's president, considering that he has failed to lead the team and lacks vision and planning, which has contributed to an unprecedented deterioration of the situation. It also held the board responsible for the state the team has reached, describing it as incapable of taking effective decisions to pull the club out of its crisis.
The group did not hide its anger either toward what it called the "city's stakeholders", accusing them of failing to support the team despite the available resources, and considering that this silence reflects an absence of any sense of responsibility and belonging.
In conclusion of its statement, the "Shark Family" called on the city's governor and the relevant authorities to intervene urgently to save the team from collapse, warning that the persistence of the current situation could lead to its relegation, with all the impact that would have on the city's history and identity.
The group affirmed that this protest action is only the beginning of an open process of escalation, stressing its determination to continue the struggle by all legitimate means until its demands are met and the team returns to the right track.
