Throne Cup Round of 16 draw: AS FAR face Stade Marocain, Raja meet Chabab El Massira and Wydad travel to Beni Mellal

The draw for the Round of 16 of the Throne Cup for the 2024-2025 season produced strong and balanced ties on Tuesday, promising a thrilling stage of the competition between the various national clubs.
The draw pitted AS FAR (Royal Army) against Stade Marocain and Raja against Chabab El Massira, while Wydad will travel as a heavyweight guest to face Raja Beni Mellal, and Renaissance Berkane (RSB) will take on Wydad Fes. Maghreb of Fes (MAS), for their part, will travel to face Ittihad Yacoub El Mansour.
As for the remaining fixtures: Ittihad Touarga face Fath Nador, Rachad Bernoussi host Fath Union Sport, Moghreb Tetouan face Chabab El Fath of Casablanca, Kenitra AC face Ittihad Tangier, and Chabab Atlas Khenifra face Club Meknassi.
Amal Tiznit will host their guests Difaa El Jadidi, Chabab Mohammedia face Chabab Benguerir, Kawkab Marrakech play Chabab Es-Soualem and Hassania Agadir take on Moustakbal El Marsa, while Nahdat Zemamra travel to face Widad Kalaat Sraghna, and Olympique Safi face Olympique Dcheira.
There is also Ittihad Tangier against Kenitra AC, in addition to the clash between Renaissance Berkane and Wydad Fes, and the match between Ittihad Yacoub El Mansour and Maghreb of Fes, while Fath Union Sport will face their counterparts Rachad Bernoussi, Chabab Atlas Khenifra will take on Club Meknassi, and Moghreb Tetouan will play Chabab El Fath of Casablanca.
As for the southern zone, it too served up strong ties, headlined by the duel between Wydad and Raja Beni Mellal, as well as the heavyweight clash between Raja and Chabab El Massira, alongside the meeting between Olympique Safi and Olympique Dcheira, and Chabab Es-Soualem against Kawkab Marrakech.
This stage of the competition is an important milestone on the road to lifting the Throne Cup title, with fans looking forward to fiery matches and potential upsets between first- and second-division clubs.
