Official: Wydad's Board of Directors Resigns and Opens Candidacy for Club Presidency

Wydad Athletic Club's board of directors has announced its decision to tender its resignation during the upcoming ordinary elective general assembly, a move it said comes out of respect for its current responsibilities and commitments toward the club and its fans.

The Red Club revealed that membership registration for the 2026-2027 sporting season is open from 5 May 2026 until 5 June 2026, in accordance with the conditions and procedures in force within the club.

The board of directors also announced the start of the process for submitting candidacy files for the club presidency, during the period running from 5 June 2026 to 20 June 2026, in preparation for holding the ordinary and elective general assembly.

The statement stressed that these measures fall within the keenness to ensure a smooth democratic transition within the club, in a way that preserves its stability and safeguards its highest interests.
